Day 57: “Crushed Childhood Dreams”: a photo
We were out walking along the pier two days ago, me playing around with a new camera lens, when Boyfriend saw this and stopped dead in his tracks. “It’s like childhood dreams. CRUSHED,” he said, looking positively crestfallen. (Then he bugged me to take a photo.)
He’s totally right of course. It’s like the trifecta of destroyed kiddy hopes here. Wasted sprinkles. A demolished cone. Even a cigarette put out in the cream.
Cruel. Just cruel.
